Equestrian Light Vest E.L.V

Finally an affordable competition weight vest designed for equestrians. This 1.8 lb vest tethers to the saddle through a strap or buckle. It provides 120 millisecond inflation times and extreme protection from falls and throws. If you ride horseback or compete in equestrian eventing, this is a must have.

Available in Black only, one size adjustable Medium through Extra Large. Can be easily worn over existing Equestrian Protective vests to provide full body and neck protection that can make the difference between a fall and a permanant injury. One 60 cc replaceable cartridge is provided with tether. Additional cartridges are available on our accessory page.

Hit air vest at Strawberry Fields Forever endurance ride June 2010

I used this vest at the Straberry Fields Forever ride this year. The endurance ride consisted of 2 days of 50 mile rides and 2 days of 55 mile rides. After a few minutes I did not even notice the vest it only weights 1.8lb's. It is very comfortable and adjustable for the different amount clothing layers I wore throughout the day. I get off my horse and lead or run very often during endurance rides. If I forgot to unclip from the saddle I did not have any accidental inflations. It takes about 60lb's of presure for the vest to inflate. I am very impressed with the added saftey I felt on my horse, especially when he was very excited at the start of the ride and we were on narrow trail with quite a drop off on one side. This is a great product that I will continue to use when riding my horses. After a few minutes I didn't even notice the vest but I was very glad I had it on.
